Congratulations to St Michael's Parish Church for gaining an Eco-Congregation Award!
St Michael's have an enthusiastic and hard working Eco-Group that has tackled a range of issues very comprehensively. Examples of their creation care projects include:
Two initiatives that have reached out to and involved not only the congregation but also the wider community: the Fair trade shop and Linlithgow Climate Challenge. These projects have become well established and enjoy the on-going support of the church.
Involving young people in activities such as the Waste Watchers Holiday Club and Slum Survivor.
Well researched articles on environmental issues in the Parish magazine, which is distributed to around 1700 homes.
