Radnor Park Church, Clydebank

15 November 2009
Congratulations to Radnor Park Church, Clydebank for gaining their first Eco-Congregation Award.

The church has changed to using an innovative combined heat and power heating system, which means that they now have a zero carbon emissions from their heating and have reduced their heating bills considerably. Further energy savings have been achieved by the installing low-energy lighting and they have also acquired recycling bins for their own use and for the local area

The congregation has excellent links to the community and has involved local school children in planting bulbs in the gardens and in the recycling/re-use of rags. They also use their magazine, Quest, to effectively communitcate the Eco-Congregation message
