Eco-Congregation

Just about everyone in the congregation has become involved in the programme through the audit process of Module 1 and subsequent actions and activities.

This has been supported by a series of eight services based on a creation theme, giving a very strong message to the whole congregation that creation care is biblical and a core Christian responsibility.

The church organised a Green Day for the community to inform and encourage individuals to appreciate God's creation and to green their own lifestyles. They also took this information to the council's Aberdeenshire Waste Aware Day, where it generated an enormous amount of interest in the Eco-Congregation programme.
