Edinburgh Methodist Mission integrates environmental issues into their worship and teaching. They have a number of recycling initiatives, particularly for paper and monitor the amount of material recycled, closing the loop by buying recycled paper and looking at recycling of other items - all adding to the success of the project.

All ages in the congregation are involved, with the young people being given the opportunity to lead.

There is excellent communication about Eco-Congregation throughout the congregation and beyond (eg to local offices) using signage, notice sheets, newsletters, and the spoken word.
